Topic:  The Role of Coaching in the Search of Spirituality
Speaker:  Lynn Meinke, PCC
CCEU: 1.50 (1.5CC)

5:00 - 6:30 pm - Webinar via Zoom
Please note that the Zoom link will be emailed to you the day before the meeting.

Spirituality has been somewhat hidden in the closet for many coaches, who often have an interest in the topic and at the same time are fearful of bringing it into the consciousness of clients or even themselves.  This hesitancy often focuses on how to address the topic and how to stay “charge neutral” and in the coaching frame when working with clients who may have very different beliefs or perspectives on the topic.

Furthermore, many coaches do not realize that the very essence of coaching with its expectations for self-reflection by clients, going deeper into exploration through the use of evocative questioning and sharing of observations, various perspectives and intuition is an integral part of being a masterful coach.

This presentation will explore the meanings and distinctions of some important terms such as spirituality, religion, soul and meaning.  It will also invite participants to openly share their thoughts and ideas and reorient coaches to the very essence of coaching skills, tools and techniques that allow a coach to comfortably and confidently work with clients that are on their spiritual journey.
