Topic: “Coaching for New Possibilities”

Monday, March 13th, 2023

5:00 - 6:30 PM ET via Zoom

Approved for 1.50 Core Competency CCEU's

The training is related to Core Competencies -

Evokes Awareness,
Embodies a coaching mindset
Facilitates Client Growth
Maintains presence
Listens actively

The training will help the coaches to further develop their skills when working with their clients.
The focus will be on situations where the client is stuck in a job or other growth areas. These are situations where he/she is not able to identify the way forward and is struggling with options. The coaching could lead to opening up avenues, which the client would not have thought possible earlier. The follow up questions could also support the client in arriving at an an action plan which would support their growth.

Participants will be able to create awareness about new possibilities when they are struggling with the way forward. There will also be discussion on how the coaches can take up these possibilities and support the client to grow/develop self.
The discussion would cover concepts such as -
(a) Understanding the client's value system
(b) Creating possibilities through visualization and other methods
(c) Moving from possibilities to action
(d) Practices to support change
All the above would have illustrations of powerful questioning and client focus

The presentation will use concepts illustrated in the book "The Art of Possibility", by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander, among other sources.
