DEIB and Cultural Competence in Coaching

Coaching is not just a service but a partnership for development and personal/ professional growth. Coaching positively impacts individuals, families, communities, and organizations. Perhaps your clients are primary caregivers at home, community service volunteers, employees, leaders, or entrepreneurs. Regardless, not everyone is afforded access to coaching, and when they are, coaches must be culturally competent and inclusive thinkers to understand the unique challenges our diverse clients face.

About Pamela:
Consistently voted one of DC’s top 20 coaches, and with more than 30 years of leadership experience, Pam Green is a powerhouse for engaging leaders, executives, and their boards. Today, Pam works with each tier of leadership (leaders, executives, and boards) to help them achieve their professional and organizational competitive advantage. Pam’s approachable style as a speaker, facilitator, and coach, allows her to create a psychologically safe environment for her clients to make transformative and sustainable shifts in their conduct, attitude, and behavior. Pam holds certifications as an Internal Conflict Coach (ICC), an SPHR from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF). She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and her MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Management to continue to lead dynamic organizations through complex problems.

Gwen Fells, President/CEO of Ansia, Inc., is a highly educated and trained professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Franklin University and a Master of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University. With over 20 years of successful experience in diverse fields, including education, social services, health and wellness, mental health, executive/leadership, business management, real estate, and business development. Her expertise includes facilitation, effective communication, executive presence, social and emotional intelligence, relationship management, strategic planning, career development, life transitions, business development, and peak performance strategies.


Anne Santilli


Anne Santilli, President of Santilli Coaching and Consulting, has over 35 years of experience in leadership and life coaching, social services management, and consulting for non-profits and government agencies. Established in 2017, SCC offers direct, supportive coaching, focusing on skill development and personal growth. Anne specializes in working with the LGBT community and people of color, helping clients manage trauma and make proactive life choices. She also consults on self-care and secondary trauma for social service providers. Anne holds a B.S. in Psychology, an MBA, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate.
